New Regions

Effective April 1 2007, the IATA memberships regions have been reorganized by counties. Previously the regions were structured based on area codes. The increased use of cellular phones has resulted in several new area codes that were not being accounted for. Cell phone use has also resulted in some members being in a region that did not correlate with where they reside. Therefore, in order to have members in similar geographical locations be in the same region, the regions have been structured by counties. A member's county is determined using their preferred mailing address on file through the NATA office.

Call for Pictures/Photos/Videos of Athletic Trainers in Action

Robert Flynn , IATA Public Relations Director, is putting together a collection of photographs for the IATA display booth to be used at various conventions, meetings, etc. While his collection of "on-the-field" photos continues to grow, he is in need of pictures of athletic trainers practicing in the clinic and/or industrial setting. The same photos will also be used to create an IATA calendar. If possible, Steve would like to have a copy of your pictures, as well as the original negatives to help with reproduction of the photos.

He would also like to gather photos and video for the new IATA athletic training video currently being created. Footage/photos can be of injured athletes or athletic trainers in school, clinics, or classrooms. Footage will only be returned if you provide return postage.
