Our Illinois ATs Care team is comprised of certified ATs specifically trained in critical incident stress management techniques. We understand not only the issues you face during a critical incident, but also the reality that ATs continue to provide care and coverage to a team following the event. Our team will be able to provide you and your staff the support you need to navigate through a critical incident.

A critical incident is an event that can disrupt a person’s psychological balance, overwhelm usual coping mechanisms and have the potential to create significant human distress. This incident could be professional or personal in nature.

If you or someone you know has responded to an emergency or experienced a traumatic event (personal or professional), please contact our Illinois ATs Care team through the NATA ATs Care form link below. Submissions are anonymous. Critical incidents can cause stress that can lead to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). While it is normal to have an emotional reaction, most of us will need assistance processing these new emotions. Our team has been trained to help you deal with these challenging situations.
