2023 Meeting & Clinical Symposium Itinerary
Join us in Lisle, IL at the Sheraton Lisle Naperville on June 9th and 10th. The weekend starts with a Board of Directors Meet & Greet at Granite City Brewery in Naperville on June 8th at 6pm. If you get to town early, bring your family and join us! Turn the weekend into a vacation with our reserved tee times at Seven Bridges Golf Club in Naperville on Friday, June 9th in the morning. If golf isn't your thing, check out the Naperville visitor's guide, curated by local athletic trainers, for other attractions to explore with friends or family. There's something for all ages!
Events at the Sheraton begin at 10am on June 9th, with a Board of Directors meeting and IHSA Wrestling Weight Assessor's certification course for secondary school athletic trainers. The first lecture of the weekend begins at 1pm. Highlights of Friday evening include a happy hour, recognition of our award and scholarship winners, and the annual social. We've brought back Singo, the musical bingo game that was a hit at last year's social. Test your musical knowledge and mingle with ATs from across the state.
Events on Saturday, June 10th begin at 7:30 with breakfast and the exhibit hall. Come check out new products and services from our vendors. Lectures continue on Saturday until 2:00pm. Click on the registration link below for a full agenda, including course titles and speaker information.
Early registration is now open through May 8th. Join us in-person for $80 or virtually for $120. Those who attended the 2022 meeting will receive a discount code for loyalty pricing (a $40 discount). Please check your email for that code which arrived on February 28th. If you attended last year's meeting and did not receive a loyalty registration code, please contact Vice President Andy Renner.

What is the Annual Meeting & Clinical Symposium?
The Annual Clinical Symposium is held in June each year, and typically rotates between a suburban and downstate location. Members and guests are invited to join us for a weekend of educational sessions, professional networking, and recognition of our accomplishments. We proudly honor our award and scholarship winners at the meeting, and offer numerous continuing education classes relevant to the needs of Illinois athletic trainers.
If you would like to be involved in helping to plan the annual meeting, please contact the Vice President. If you have an idea for educational content or would like to contribute to the continuing education portion of the meeting, please contact the Education Committee chair. An official call for proposals will go out before the next annual meeting. Our goal is to provide a weekend of events for athletic trainers and their families alike. If you have suggestions for future annual meetings, we would love to hear from you. Please use this contact form to share your ideas with us.
