I want to hire an athletic trainer for my sports club/weekend tournament/event. Can you share my job posting with your members?
The IATA receives generous grants from the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), that partially come from the NATA's job board revenue. Therefore, we cannot post or email job opportunities to our members. If you need an athletic trainer for a short term, there are several options available to you. We encourage you to reach out to local physical therapy clinics, hospitals, and orthopedic groups, as these organizations often employ athletic trainers to perform outreach services. You can establish a contract with an organization for a day, a weekend, or longer, depending on your needs. Can I purchase your membership list to advertise to your members?
We do not sell our membership list to anyone. If you would like to advertise a product or service that is relevant to the needs of athletic trainers, you may purchase an eblast. We will accept your advertising content, produce a proof of your eblast, and send it to our membership after you have approved the proof. I am an athletic trainer who applied for licensure in Illinois. When will I get my license?
If you have submitted all parts of the application for licensure, including the fee, we recommend that you wait 6 weeks after the state has received your application to inquire about its status. If your check has been cashed, the state has received your application. As the IATA does not control the licensure process, you will need to contact the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) to inquire about your license.
